In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, immigrants swarmed through
the port of New York. Many of these immigrants moved on to other cities and
states; however, many others stayed and created a life in New York.
This collection of birth and baptism records, compiled by Arthur and Nancy
Kelly, was taken from the New York church registers of 1683-1928, and town birth
records 1846-49. It contains over 82,028 records from Columbia, Rensselaer, and
Albany counties and provides details on more than 320,000 individuals.
This New York database contains over 56,000 New York Birth records from
Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties, and provides
details on more than 225,000 individuals.
In addition to providing the name of the deceased, this database also provides
the date of death, person's age at the time of their death, and a death

This New York Marriage Record database constitutes marriage bonds from the State of New
York prior to 1784, with the earliest record dating to 1664. The names of the
parties licensed to marry have been indexed in alphabetical order.

married in the city between 1639 and 1695.
